Open a dish for editing from Profile → Menu and scroll to the Dietary & allergens section.
Select the tags that apply — for example vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or nut warnings. Tags appear as clear icons on the guest menu.
Save the dish so guests with dietary needs can identify safe choices before ordering, without having to ask your staff.
Repeat for your best sellers first, then work through the rest of the menu. Even partial coverage removes most allergen questions during service.
Review tags whenever a recipe, garnish, or supplier changes. dinerr shows exactly what you enter and does not replace professional allergen advice or legal labeling duties.
Guests with allergies often decide where to eat based on whether the menu answers their questions upfront. Complete dietary tags reduce risky guesses, protect your guests, and cut the number of allergen conversations your team has to run during peak service. Dietary tags also appear in the guest's own language, since dinerr translates the labels automatically — one less thing for you to translate by hand.
