When platform payments are enabled, guests can choose Split the bill at checkout — ideal for groups where everyone pays their own share.
Each guest enters the amount they want to pay, for example half of the remaining balance or a custom sum, right from their own phone on the same order.
Guests can record a cash portion for someone who pays with bills, or pay their share by card with Pay now. Mixing cash and card in one order is fully supported.
The order stays open in Orders → Current orders until the full balance is paid, and your team sees the remaining amount at a glance.
Tips work per payment too, so each guest can leave their own tip with their own share. Split bill is available on Pro and Premium plans.
Split bill removes the most awkward moment of group dining — the calculator at the end. Guests each pay what they had, staff stop splitting bills by hand, and the table turns faster because nobody waits for change across six payments. If one guest leaves early, the rest of the table simply continues paying the remainder — the order tracks what is settled and what is left, down to the cent.
