Create table QR codes under Tables → Table QR codes setup, then print or display them on each table. Laminated cards or stickers both work well in daily service.
Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera, and your digital menu opens instantly in their browser. No app download, no account, no waiting for a paper menu.
They browse categories, open dishes for photos and allergen info, customize options, and add items to the cart — in their own language when translations are set up.
Guests place the order from the cart, and it appears immediately in Orders → Current orders for your team, with the table number attached automatically.
When platform payments are enabled, guests can pay right in the browser, add a tip, or split the bill. Otherwise staff collect payment at the table or counter as usual.
For takeaway or delivery, guests use your public restaurant profile, a general menu QR code from Profile → QR codes, or any other QR code you create — no table number required.
If a code stops working, reprint it from the same setup page; codes break when the floor plan or restaurant slug changes.
During rush hours QR ordering absorbs the ordering queue: guests order the moment they sit down instead of waiting for staff, and the kitchen receives a steady, readable stream of tickets.
